Step 1. Connect The Samsung Tablet to The Computer
First of all, use USB cable to connect your Samsung tablet to the computer and run Android Data Recovery. The main window would be shown as below.
Step 2. Enable USB Debugging Mode
Make sure you have enabled USB debugging mode so that the software can scan for deleted files. If you don't have it enabled, follow the steps below depend on your Android Version.
1) For Android 2.3 or earlier: Tap "Settings" < Click "Applications" < Click "Development" < Check "USB debugging"
2) For Android 3.0 to 4.1: Tap "Settings" < Click "Developer options" < Check "USB debugging"
3) For Android 4.2 or newer: tap "Settings" > click "About Phone" > tap "Build number" for several times until getting a note "You are under developer mode" > Back to "Settings" > click "Developer options" > check "USB debugging".
Step 3. Scan The Files on The Android Tablet
Simply click the "Start" to scan and analyze your device. Make sure the cable is well connected so the process can run smoothly.
Step 4 Browse the recoverable files
Now, you can preview deleted contacts, SMS, photos and other data found on your device. You may check their detail. Select the ones you desire to recover and click "Recover" right bottom corner.
